Mission Statement

The Home Builders Association of Iowa is a federation of local home builders associations that effectively supports the Iowa home building industry by:

• Supporting affiliated local home builders associations;

• Participating proactively in government affairs;

• Providing networking opportunities;

• Delivering valued services;

• Advancing new technology and trends; and,

• Promoting ethical business practices.

The Home Builders Association of Iowa will provide leadership for the building industry and promote the American dream of home ownership.

Core Focus

The Home Builders Association of Iowa will be the leading advocate for the residential construction industry. We shall strive to:

• Provide a forum and serve as a resource for our members on issues impacting the residential construction industry;

• Present a unified voice to various sectors of state government;

• Encourage legislation, regulations and codes that strengthen the home building industry;

• Support government officials sensitive to the needs and operations of our industry; and

• Encourage the participation of members in the legislative process.
